Renovated in 2007, this 27-room hotel is an old water mill with a modern twist, built on an island with two bridges to the hotel from the main land. The island is on the river Thames in Abingdon. Facilities include a 24-hour bar (for residents), restaurant, room service, laundry service and car park.
All the rooms are en suite with either a modern or classical design. Facilities include hairdryer, direct dial telephone, TV, radio, Internet access, tea and coffee making facilities and ironing facilities. The rooms feature double beds, central heating and a terrace.
The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast is provided in buffet form or in continental style, at lunch there is a set menu and dinner can either be ordered a la carte or from a set menu.
