Hotel Kolping Linz

The hotel is within around a 15-minute walk of Linz's central train station and around 100 m from the city centre. Landstrasse, the city's main shopping street, which is also Austria's second-longest shopping street, is just around the corner and all of the city's the sights can be easily reached on foot or with public transport. Restaurants, bars and pubs on Landstrasse are around 100 m from the establishment, as is the Schillerpark and a bus stop on Burgerstrasse. Nature in the form of the Botanical Garden is around a 4-minute drive away. The River Danube is about 5 minutes away, and the Pleschinger See lake is around 15 minutes away by car.

This 52-room city hotel was completely renovated in 2008 featuring light, modern and comfortable furniture. Guests are welcomed into a lobby with a 24-hour reception, hotel safe, cloakroom and lift access. For relaxation and refreshments there is a bar and restaurant, and guests may take advantage of the hotel's conference facilities. For a fee guests may also make use of Internet access and a laundry service. There is a garage available for those guests with vehicles.

All rooms are equipped with individually regulated air conditioning, a shower/WC, double bed, cable TV, radio, telephone and a hairdryer. Internet access and central heating also feature as standard. Guests can choose between smoking and non-smoking rooms.

By car: From the motorway take the exit for Linz Zentrum and at the 6th set of traffic lights turn right onto Stockhofstrasse. Follow the signs and turn right at the next traffic lights onto Auerspergstrasse and then left onto Gesellenhausstrasse.
